FUOYE lecturers disown ASUU Zonal Coordinator over damaging comments on mgt



Strong indications emerged, on Wednesday, that lecturers at the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, FUOYE, have again disowned Professor Olu Olu, the ASUU Zonal Coordinator.


This was done in reaction to comments which the ASUU Zonal Coordinator made against the FUOYE University management in a recent newspaper interview.

Also, other key members of the union have come out to, again, disown Prof Olu, over comments he passed against the outgoing VC and his management team in a recent interview he granted a nation denying all allegations of mismanagement Professor Olu held against the VC and his  management team, the zonal members of ASUU said Olu was speaking only for himself and not for any member of ASUU in FUOYE.

OAU SHUT DOWN: Management closes down OAU asks Students to vacate halls of residence until further notice Students of Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU, organized a protest on Friday against the administration of the institution over the death of Adeshina Aishat.  The students claimed that Aishat, a final year understudy of foreign language, passed on because of the carelessness of the institution's health workers  "PRESS RELEASE MANAGEMENT CLOSES DOWN OAU, ASKS STUDENTS TO VACATE HALLS OF RESIDENCE.
