Following the directive from JAMB the various tertiary institutions have published their cut-off marks for  2020/2021 admission exercise. These cutoff marks were decided by the Senate and management of the various schools. Candidates seeking admission into the various institutions in the country are advised to check the cut-off mark for their schools of choice. Whereby your score is not up to the cut-off mark stipulated by your schools of choice, you are advised to consider a change of institution. BREAKING: FUOYE Student Found Dead After Eating Rice In Boyfriend’s House In Osun 21-year-old student of Federal University Of Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), Faderera Oloyede, has been found dead in her boyfriend’s house. The deceased was found dead in her boyfriend’s house at Koko area in Iree, Osun State. Naijainland gathered that the boyfriend, Maliki Ayo who is yet to be ascertained if he is student of Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, ran away after the incident occurred. Malik Confirming the story, the Osun State Police Command Public Relations Officer, Opalola Yemisi said the corpse has been taken to Lautech Morgue for autopsy. Yemisi disclosed that the Course mate that went with her, Adekemi Adewumi has been arrested and confessed they all ate rice together overnight. She however said that the the police are currently investigating on the matter.

JAMB 2020 Cut-off Marks For Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges The  2020 Policy Meeting on Admissions to Tertiary Institutions in Nigeria has approved 160 as the minimum cut-off mark for admission into universities. Polytechnics cut-off mark was put at 120 and above while that of the Colleges of Education stands at 100 and above. Speaking at the meeting, Adamu Adamu, Minister of Education, directed JAMB and tertiary institutions to proceed with the conduct of 2020/2021 admissions. Admission processes are expected to commence in August based on the guidelines released by JAMB.  Education Minister who was represented by the Minister of State for Education, Emeka Nwajiuba, urged JAMB and tertiary institutions to consider candidates with previous years' Senior School Certificate Examination and other qualifying results, to proceed with the admission process. He said the government will make an arrangement that will accommodate applicants who will be taking the examination when the
